Chef Tarsha's Watermelon Salad - Juneteenth Culinary Celebration 2022


Ingredients

2 cups Watermelon

1/2 cup English Cucumber

1 Tbsp Red Onion

1 Tbsp Basil

1 Tbsp Mint

Juice of 2 Limes

1 1/2 Tbsp Balsamic Vinegar

Instructions

Gently combine in a bowl. Prepare the night before to punch up the flavors!

The key to developing rich sauces is in mastering the art of making a Roux.

Over-hydrated or thin sauces can be saved by making "slurry"; part cool sauce or liquid plus starch for thickening.
