Gifts From The Ancestors

Gifts From the Ancestors is my personal love letter and memoir to Southwest Louisiana and the Heart of Acadiana. It is my hope that the cookbook project will foster greater interest and appreciation of Acadiana and the rich Creole Heritage from four generations of Creole Cooks. Culinary class resources and virtual cooking classes via YouTube and the Gifts from the Ancestors website. Proceeds from the sale of this cookbook will go to establish the Lawrence J. and Viola M. Raleigh Hospitality Scholarship for African American women pursuing a post-secondary degree in hospitality, culinary arts, and hotel-restaurant management.
